If you’ve started thinking about whether buying a home is right for you, there are a lot of good reasons why you should consider it. It’s normal to be a little (or a lot) scared – it’s a big, life-changing decision. But it’s also very exciting too.
Here’s why you should take the leap into real estate and buy yourself a home.
No more wasting
There is nothing wrong with renting. It gives you the freedom to pick up and move on whenever you see fit. But there may come a time when you no longer wish to contribute to a stranger’s mortgage payments when you could be doing the exact same thing by paying off your own. It may also be a lot cheaper than you may have thought, as there is a current increase in people wanting to rent, meaning the prices are being lowered on a mortgage.
You will never have to worry about receiving that dreaded note through your door off the landlord, telling you that you have 90 days to leave the premises as they have now decided they want to sell up and move away! Or the price of rent has been put up, and you can no longer afford to live there. Believe it or not, this happens a lot more often than you would think, and it’s a terrible situation to be left in.
If you own your home, this will never happen.
There’s a future
Real estate grows every year, meaning the price of the properties will too, (as long as they are looked after!) So it’s a very safe investment you can make for the future.
If you compare buying a new car, to a new house. The car’s value will constantly be going down drastically every year that passes by – while the home will be increasing.
It may be wise to speak to someone that has a lot of legal advice within real estate industry like Nirman’s Law. They are able to provide you with all the need to know information so you know what your next move should be and why.
You have privacy
You’re the official owner of the house, so you don’t have to be one edge about the landlord knocking on your door to make sure you haven’t been doing anything you shouldn’t to his property.
You can have all the privacy you want now, and never have to feel like you haven’t got a choice who enters your space.
It’s all yours
Another wonderful reason why people like to buy, is the pride that comes with the purchase. You own it. You do not have to rely on someone else (like a landlord.) You can do what you want, when you want. If you fancy knocking down a wall to make an open plan living room – you can. If you want to add decking in the garden – you can. If you want to get a dog – you can. Or even if you just want to paint the front door orange – you can!
