Well, a bit of a to-do, hereabouts. Socialist Cindy was in Napier for some [throwing taxpayer money around at possible voters] event and did a bit of an election campaign walkabout, afterwards.

It appears that - for her visit - Queen Cindy was able to get her Health Munster to suspend the 2 metre social distancing requirements with strangers. How so very fortunate for all concerned.

Photographs have emerged of the Prime Minister and director general of health posed for pictures close to well-wishers, prompting accusations of hypocrisy from a National Party MP warned by police for doing the same.

Socialist Cindy deserves everything that gets thrown at her, over this.

That observation made, it is nice that in NZ, the PM can be out on the streets with the general population. Not something I imagine Trumpy would be keen to try.

Ardern said she tried to remind people to keep their distance but it was not always possible. "I have had situations where people have moved into photos with me closer than I would have liked. But I will continue to advocate for social distancing and I will continue to do my best in those situations to step away from people. "There will be the odd occasion where I haven't managed to sidestep quickly enough or I had been in a situation where I have had people come alongside."

I just cant stand her , people are so stupid and gullible to idolize her as some kind of Princess Goody Good , when nothing could be further from the truth. Obama had the same appeal , slick , smooth talking con man, that many fell for.

Yeah this really is outrageous given all the who-ha about needing to maintain social distancing. But there was always some ambiguity around it so there's no story here really. I like what NZH's Kate Hawkesby says re. Todd Muller's vanishing act.

Put the PM - the cheer leader for NZ's economic collapse - no. Totally, no.

That she was incapable of seeing the outcome of a citizenry walkabout shows she's incapable of running a country.
