Hi everyone!
It’s come time to replace my old small acrylic shower for something I’m going to enjoy showering in.

I want a good quality acrylic shower that isn’t going to fade/yellow and/or crack in the next 5 years - ideally something to last me 10-20 years.

I...

I am a buy to hold owner and have done some renos on a newly purchased property that was very tired. In particular I double glazed the windows and I am aware of like-for-like criteria for claiming expenses. Clearly doubly glazing is not like for like but the windows definitely needed doing, many did...

Hi there,

I am looking at a 3 bed property in Hamilton to be purchased as an IP. Is it worth converting the dining room to a single room so that it would then attract the rental of a 4 beddy house to improve my cashflow? Or will this turn off prospective tentants as it won't have a big...

Hello there,

Hi,

I plan to replace a detached old concrete block garage with a new cheapish garage, but a large one. Double + studio (artist + maybe gym). I'm thinking 6-7 x 10m approx.

Does anybody have any recommendations? I have requested assistance from TotalSpan and Versatile but not...

Hi all
My partner and I have a very large rumpus room downstairs and we were considering subdividing it into a separate unit, but we don't meet the land size requirements. But, we can turn our home into a home and income, which is great. My question is this... If we go ahead and put a unit in...

I am investigating removing a wired kitchen disposal and not replacing. Has anyone done this. I imagine it needs a complete new sink as well, so plumber and electrician? What happens to the isolator switch for the waste disposal?

I'm doing a renovation lasting some months. The builder and his apprentice are paid hourly. Is it standard to include their breaks during the day (when they will leave the property at times)? ie if they work 7am to 5pm do I pay them for the full 10hrs? Thanks

Hi Guys

We are thinking of renovating our Kitchen. The plumber who came in suggested that we would need a consent as we are looking at moving to GAS instead of electric cooking range. We won't be moving the Plumbing though.
