    Christchurch property market slow?

    Hi there

We are trying to sell a 2 bedroom unit in Christchurch but have had it on the market for 12 months without success, even though we are open to all offers. Is this typical of the Chch market at the moment? It is an over 60's restricted unit in terms of tenants which I guess narrows the market.

Just interested to hear any comments about the state of the market in Christchurch.

    Cheers

    John.

I know of 2 people who have sold family houses in the last few months fairly easily. I would think it might be because of all the new apartments in the town centre coming available. Eg by the Colombo and by the green belt.

        Hi John
What area in Christchurch? That may be a factor, given it is an over-60's unit and what with all the roadworks etc. may be a problem.
