I understand that there are obviously other sides to the story. But surely your actions in acting for both Paul/Flat Fee and the other party amount to a conflict of interest. Maybe not legally/technically, but certainly morally.

Any actions myself or my firm have taken, were not intended to disadvantage any party or cause any harm to the Flat Fee business. Any actions we took were based on what we thought was legal, right and fair.

Fair? Sorry, but I am struggling to accept this. No harm to Flat Fee business? It's been systematically destroyed, and taken away from Paul Flood.

I hold a lot of shares in clients corporate Trustees.

That's a position I've seen before. Sort-of.

I've looked at the Companies Office records
and the few I saw with your name in them
did not appear to be Trustee Companies,
on the face of the information presented.

Shareholders and directors are different. In
my Trustee company, my accountant is
a Director, but not a shareholder. That's
(I presume) to be the independent advice
Director, but to have no actual financial
interest 'share' in the Trustee company.

You seem to have significant shareholdings
in companies or holding companies, in many
cases, but not a Director. Why's that?

Directors direct companies and use their
best efforts to guide them. Shareholders
usually don't.
