Cost for a Jack and Pack Foundation Relevel - re Ch-Ch Earthquakes ?
Have a Californian Bungalow of around 100 square meters that needs a foundation relevel.
Interested in hearing from those that have been through the process, what your cost was ? And how long ago was it done ?
Separate price for the lifting part would be great too ?

Building costs may rise by a third
Anyone building at the moment? Seems NZ will suffer long delays for building supplies and pay up to a third more when they can get their hands on even the basics like 4x2 wood.
House prices sure to rise!

Ute Tax - expect the cost to be passed on
If you think home builds, renovations and maintenance is already costly - expect to pay your tradies more from January 2022.
The UTE TAX - is not just on farmers but also your much-loved tradie. Plus they will pay on average a $3000 penalty for purchasing a gas-guzzling ute new or second-hand...The penalty under the governement's new Clean Car Discount will apply to the likes of the Toyota Hilux and Ford Ranger.Last edited by donna; 16-07-2021, 08:52 PM.

What info does QV give to council?
So I asked the bank for more money to finish renovations. The bank said they want a valuation done if we proceed. How is QV going to treat half finished renovations, and what information are they likely to give to the council?
