The carcase of a 60 - tonne whale exploded on a Taiwan street showering nearby cars and shops with blood and organs and stopping traffic for hours. The 17 m sperm whale was being transported to a University in the city of Tainan for an autopsy, when expanding internal gases caused its entrails to explode.


Could this have happened in NZ or Aus?
