    The Truth Behind FOR-SALE-BY-OWNER!

While there will always be for-sale-by-owner enthusiasts out there, what does it say for their credibility when a founder of a major FSBO company himself needs an agent to sell his property for him?

Hi everyone. thank you for all your feedback. Good or bad, feedback is and always will be appreciated. The intent of this article was to provide information for consumers to read about some of the untold truths and risks involved in selling a property themselves. Their are many of us who are skilled and can go it alone but their are more that have invested in FSBO companies and have lost quite a bit of money. Sundaybell simply helps to better educate consumers on what choices they have before they commit to either going it alone or choosing a real estate professional to represent them. Either way, we're about empowering the consumer and helping them to make informed decisions.

              @ Spaceman. Yes it should.

I had to have a chuckle at the responses though and their mispelling of the word "there" (twice) speaks volumes...

Cheers to you Marcus. And to add to your post you misspelled misspelling!

Oh no no no no. That won't do. I have it on good authority from an educated person that attacking posters on the basis of grammar is poor form!

i would rather sell my properties via an agent - too much hassle trying to do it all myself

Hi Sundaybell, thanks for sharing it, really your article is very funny and interesting. This is very rediculus way to save money and cheating any body is also a crime. I just like to say all the buyer to be careful while buying any property

Like I already mentioned, hiring a real estate agent could be a good idea all in itself. Nonetheless, it could be a grand to figure out if you have the tools to take care of the situation by yourself.

Agreed, it is so much easier. And you have a better chance of selling it for more (as has been discussed.)
