People are very excited ...

about the Olympics and its impact on East London.

But then people have been excited about CrossRail and its impact on East London for years and CrossRail hasn't materialised yet.

Its hard to get positive cashflow so most investors see London as overpriced. Owner-occupiers who bought in east London because its all they could afford are patting themselves on the back for a decision well made based on the Olympics decision.

There is certainly room for improvement in infrastructure.

But where will all the poor people live?
