We have a date for a drinks/dinner evening - the last for 2006. Monid (David) is in town on 7th Dec so let's meet up and discuss our success in 2006 and plans for 2007 - informally of course .

What's a good venue in Wellywood? We are blessed with so many great bars!

How about Olive on Cuba street, they have a couple of nice Vege options and have a quiet back/side room were we could have a chat and few wines.

Olive is a great choice for dinner - do we also want to meet there earlier for drinks or meet somewhere near there? If we get 20 ish - we could book out the area at the front right of the serving counter - and get there say 5.30pm. Steve if I recall the room at the back is quite small so this may be a better option for a larger group ?

Ok, I've got the baby sitter organised so will be in town by about 6.30.

Lets plan dinner for 7 or 7.30 to give any others like me a chance to get there. Steve are you happy to make a booking so they have a heads up there will be a group coming and make sure there will be a decent space for us?

May be easier to meet at a bar first for a bit more space then move on at the right time. Murphy's Irish Bar is a block or so down Cuba St from Olive and probably has the most space given the hoarde of us who could potentially turn up.
