    Order of Disputes Tribunal
    Case Number CIV-2012-092-002943.

    Alan Morton-Jones of Rodney Real Estate Ltd/Rodney Rentals, Orewa ordered to pay $1,917.82, being interest, change of locks, and Accountants fees. (Paid 27.5.13)

    In February 2012 Alan Morton Jones was notified of error of short paid rentals received by Rodney Rentals from the tenants for the period 2011, 2012, and 2013 financial years calculated until 31 July 2012 totaling $11,055.85.

    Alan Morton Jones failed to remedy the error for some months even after notification & in fact continued to short pay the monies owed until finally paying a total of shortfall and rent owed up until 31 August 2012 of $12,327.61

    Yikes! I haven't had to look up disputes tribunal before. How did you find?

                Alan morton-jones has been suspended as a licensed real estate agent in New Zealand. You can search for his name on the public register of licencesed real estate agents in New Zealand to verify.

                        I would be surprised if they did not have a personal vendetta against the Property Manager. Who wouldn't?

                        In saying that, it doesn't mean they are incorrect especially given that both REAA and MoJ have already made up their decision.

                            Alan Morton-Jones has had his Real Estate licence suspended.
