Hi all,
I am organising a PropertyTalk get-together in Hamilton on Thursday August 10th. Donna and Marc will be in town that evening, so I thought it would be a good opportunity to meet "Mum and Dad" as well as each other.
The plan will be to meet somewhere for drinks and dinner, from (say) 6pm. (I'll firm up the time later.) I will organise the venue, but will need numbers for a booking. I will aim to find somewhere that is: 1. Reasonably priced; 2. Has a vegetarian selection (that is not just a salad); 3. Is BYO wine (because I'm cheap); and 4. Can accomodate a large group at a single table. (If anyone has any suggestions of such a venue, please let me know.)
It so happens that Dean Leftus is talking to the Waikato PIA on Wednesday August 9th. For those of you who are unable to make in on Thursday 10th, there will be an opportunity to meet each other before Dean talks. I am yet to hear back from Dean, but he might be able to join us. However, I expect that he may well have a prior engagement with the WPIA committee, but we'll see. If you are not a member of the WPIA, and have not seen Dean talk, I can highly recommend him. (I travelled to Rotorua a few months ago to see Dean talk, and it was well worth it.) The WPIA charges a $20 door fee for non-members - a bargain at twice the price.
So, please let me know if you are able to make it on Thursday August 10th. Also, if you have any venue suggestions, let rip.
Regards,
Paul Flood.
