    Mortgagee Sale / Insurance

What is the best Landlord Insurance.

Bychance will find myself bidding at a Mortgagee sale this week but I havent been thinking insurance as I wasnt planning on this buying through auction.

Who should I be using for nice South Auckland rental, and can they whip it up straight after the auction ?

It is important to get the property Insured at the fall of the hammer.

also some say that a title insurance is good idea for mortgagee sale. have a look at : http://www.firsttitle.co.nz/home.htm

    I hope that helps.

    PS. I PM you.

When I was comparing insurance companies for Landlord insurance, AMI came up trumps. They offered far more than ASB for about $200 less. AMI due an insurance specifically for Landlords, covers tenants non payment, doing runners etc.

Cheers Mark I was trying to find this information you had given me previously.

Unfortunately the property sold 20k over my maximum bid.

Shame as the property I was interested in was the first I had seen keen interest and strong bidding.

Normally getting bids has been like drawing blood out of a stone.

I've met Greg Fritelli and he's the slimiest insurance agent you could ever hope to meet.
I'd recommend you use anyone but him.

I can recommend PIC Insurance Services who are in Sth Akl. Jo Keane on 298-2082.
