Online traders, property speculators and tax agents behind in their personal tax are among those who can expect the Inland Revenue's steely gaze in the coming year.

For the first time the IRD has issued details of the areas of tax compliance it intends to focus on in the next 12 months.

They have identified over 900 people who have bought and sold more than 10 properties during the period. Apparently when the first talked to the person referred too, they only know of some of his trades.

There would be a reasonable amount of the 900 on PropertyTalk.com I'd say......probably the smart ones who have everything sorted out. I mean there's been enough communication on here about what you need to do with structures etc.
