Are such sideshows now no more than a yawn? Budgets seem to be a roller coaster about the varying ways of robbing Peter to pay Paul (or Paul to pay Peter) and making it look like something else.

You are a "have" so one way or another you will pay. The right wing sorts who gleefully tell us in this forum how much they have received in rent increases over the past few years seem to equally think the money comes from nowhere and they are privileged enough to operate in a vacuum. They are of course kidding themselves.

Most of the comments I've seen hereabouts and elsewhere relate to small rent increases which have fallen behind operational costs for LLs.

What defines a 'have?' How does someone become a 'have?' Or - for that matter how does one cease to be a 'have?'

A definition of a hasn't or have not or had it and lost it might also be enlightening.

Someone who listens to certain religions/ideologies and their message of the virtues of slavery.

Seems almost as glib as the regular cant about resources should be invested in productive and environmentally-friendly business ventures, instead of residential accommodation. Easy to say, with requests to provide viable examples usually accorded a crashing gale of silence.
