Repiling in Auckland

Hi, needing some repiling done,

Any recommendations for repilers in Auckland. Maybe 30-50 piles.

Looking for good work at fair price.

Anyone to talk to or alternatively avoid.

If you're knowledgeable any price range I should be looking at. Access is good.

What's the cut-off point for consent? It's not the whole house that needs to be done.

current decisions from MBIE suggest somewhere between 20-50% doe not need consent. But it is a matter of interpretation. It still has to comply with building code. A consent gives greater surety that it does but at a cost.

you need plans and specs and bracing calculation so use engineer but this could cost up to 5k plus consent fees.

Meehole posts here and has experience? A contractor may have contact for plans or be competent in providing the design?


Even if you dont need consent you need to be sure that the design is adequate?
