Repiling going in circles

Hi Guys

I'm based in Wellington and would like my 1900s Villa to have a full Repile.

I engaged an architect and engineer. When sending our drawings and spec sheet to builders we were quoted $100,000 by three different companies!

Nothing is unusual about our house...

Has anyone tried or used Hydro Excavation for digging holes for a retaining wall or repiling a house.

I spoke with a company today and they said they can excavate 10 holes ... 600mm diameter 1.5 metres deep in about 5.5 hours. A full days hire is $2300 based on a 10 hour...
