      I am renovating a bathroom, toilet, and laundry and interested in the flooring options of Lino or Ceramic Vinyl Planks? (Not keen on tiles, due to the hassle in replacing them).

        Laying vinyl on top of the old vinyl

        I've been burned before by shoddy tradesmen, so I got a shock when I had a flooring guy tell me he could simply lay the new lino on the old stuff as the old is still in good condition and will make a good flat surface. Does anyone know if this is alright or is he a cowboy?
