HRV vs Smart Energy

Planning to install ventilation system in my rental property.

Considering HRV and Smart Energy, which is better?

Any advise on the pros and cons of ventilation system? Is it effective in reducing mould and dampness?

Interested to know what everyone thinks of HRV.

We are looking at it for our house to dry it out a bit, warm it up and get some dampness out of the house.

Looking at it for our house the cost is about 3.6k to 4k to put in.

In the past few months, current tenant (who has been in since Feb 09) started complaining of excess moisture/mold; that her family's clothes are growing moldy while in drawers; that windows are all wet in the mornings; that it got so bad in the bedrooms that she made her family sleep in the lounge instead...

I know its on this site somewhere, but in your HO which one is REALLY the best, many companies will preach theirs is the best, but how can you really be sure. Is it the features to go by or the amount of moisture that can be taken from the air.

have got a block of flats, upstairs- downstairs. and in one particular flat there is a bad mould problem on the ceilings, have cleaned them down with mould killer but back again with a vengence.
are there any solutions other than the obvious, ventilation,let sunlight in, etc

I've seen this discussed before individually but I'd like to know if anyone has compared which of these systems is the best even though all seem alike

180 sqm house... mostly single story, 4 bedroom, open plan kitchen dining lounge. 2 bath
