Why Owning A Property Is The Best Investment

I was on the Matt Gilligan/Tony Alexander webinar last night. Someone asked if buying was better than renting. Tony said - renting 'appears' better if you just consider monthly cashflow - but of course owning a property - is a much better way to go.

I have a little scenario:

Two parties, A and B, are purchasing a property together for $1.5M.

A and B are each getting a loan of $500K, but A is also putting in an additional $500K cash as equity.
