    Clearing new posts by refreshing

    Hi Marc

I notice that when you refresh the site the new posts do not seem to be cleared.

Hmmm checked the manual but could not find how the New Posts feature works - my guess is it just lists all the new posts for the day and does not keep a record of posts you have seen...

    Cheers

There is an option to Mark all threads read, under Forum tools.

Also threads I have not read have their names in bold, once read they appear in normal text.

      Regards...

If it is the same as somersoft forum. the new post button shows all new posts since you were last on. Which may have been weeks ago

I dont know if it is. I accidentally closed the browser, and then came back and chose New Posts again, expecting it to be blank, and forunately it still showed the last 21 posts.

Maybe its slightly better than the old forum, and know which ones you've look at, or 'realises' if you haven't been away for long.

              Hey team,

This is the same forum code as somersoft and has loads for features than the old pt.co.nz.

              Cheers

New posts retains the list for the session which means you can click through and not worry about losing the list.
