animated images

hi all,
the site software won't let me upload an animated gif as a user pic

but many users seem to have them

something i'm doing wrong???

I use Photobucket for my images.

I run mine through Image ready and they work, must be19K or less and be the right size. I used to have same problem, reducing file size to 18K or less always fixed it.
