I am currently involved in writing a dissertation regarding the Buy-to-Let industry as part of my university course.
I have spent many hours researching online, at libraries and via telephony, however, I can't find the answers to a few really important questions.
At the start of my project I thought these questions would be the easiest to locate but so far I just can not ascertain any relevant information.
As such, I would be grateful if the members of Property Talk could give me a hand with the following questions:
(Please note: if you have not got accurate data, then an educated estimate would be sufficient)
1.How many private landlords / buy-to-let investors currently operate in the UK?
2.How many new landlords / buy-to-let investors are anticipated to enter the market in 2006?
3.How many estate agents are currently operating in the UK?
4.How many new estate agencies are anticipated to enter the market in 2006?
