Great to have you on board. Looks like we may have to have a gathering soon enough. I am the organiser for events down here in Chch and usually try to get together every month or so. Keep your eyes on this page and see what comes along. There is no reason why you can't organise something yourself. I'm always up for a coffee and chat about property anytime. PM or call for coffee. We usually have around 10-20 at our gatherings.

Either during the week (school holidays) from Tues 10th April, or the weekend following, 14th-15th would suit me.
Theres an excellent new cafe in North Beach (Beach rd by Broad park), which is child friendly with a playground across the road.
Just an idea , but open to other suggestions.

Well team it looks like we have too have something during April. I am toying with an idea of a BBQ/Family day near the beach and a playground. One Sunday afternoon, around Anzac Weekend. How does this sound. If there is a preference to dates as has been put forward so far then we will look to having it then. I will post a date and place after the weekend after hearing all comments posted here.

Glen is the 14/15th the only suitable weekend or is after ok, say maybe the 29th April.
Trish, i know you are in Aus but when do you return.
Julianne, is the weekend OK if it's a family day.

The cafe i was refering to is Beach Cafe, 16 Beach rd, Nth Beach, 3828599.
I'm told that Sundays are usually fairly busy though, but the owner will post me out a menu anyway.
Any other thoughts?
......the 'Groynes' perhaps if the weathers good.....picnic lunch and plenty of room for the rugrats!!

Back in Christchurch from 25th April through to the 1st May with the whole family so would be great to have something during these dates so Dean could meet everyone.
