much demand for furnished rentals

Hi all,

Just wondering if there is much demand from people wanting furnished 3 bedroom houses. Even for 3 or 4 month term.
I have heard of this especially within the medical field where doctors are relocating from overseas but wouldn't know where to start advertising...anyone got any ideas?
Any property managers out there look after these types of rentals?

We have a house in Mt Eden and were going to be away for 3 months.
We went to the local school and ended up renting our house to someone local who was getting renovations done.
There are also University rags that you can advertise in.
We rented a bit below market rent and left everything in except for clearing a wardrobe in each room

That's exactly what I want to hear....guessing it's just a matter of finding the right place to advertise and hopefully all coincides at the right time...

Yeah, we get a lot of demand in our rental area for furnished places, but probably more specifically in the 1-2 bedroom places. Doctors, contractual workers, extended training, people on OEs.

One of the more common things in Dunedin is studio room living, where each room of a house is rented out individually with shared common areas.
