Our next meeting is being held at the Suburban Club Tahunanui Drive on THURSDAY 16th August. The meeting proper commences at 7.30 pm with the ever popular meal at 6pm when you will have the opportunity to chat to other investors. We are flying in Dr Bob Hargreaves Director of Massey University’s Property Foundation to speak to us. Bob and his department have for many years published a series of informative publications on the state of our property industry. These pronouncements are regularly reported in the media and one would hope the Government takes note of them. At a time when many are suggesting we are heading for hard times, the future always looks obscured. Bob is perhaps uniquely placed to point to where we are on that cycle and point to where the roller coaster is headed. He has some forward thinking ideas on how our urban areas can be better utilised. Smart long-term investors need to tap into these ideas if they want to try and outpace and out-think the market.
