      Dear RM

      In keeping with your transparent nature. Would you advise the name of the person who posts on behalf of your company, for the benefit of all forumites?

      Thanks,

        Hi Spurner,

        Our Customer Services Team are responsible for assisting customers our web site and others. Hence our signature "customer services".

        Cube,

        Most of the valuations are Registered Valuations (you can tell by viewing them on the web site) but some are Desktop or Drive By valuations prepared by a Registered Valuer.

        The difference between the two is simple:
        a) The Registered Valuation is the valuers most accurate assessment of the propertys value.
        b) A Desktop or Drive by is a very conservative assessment of the property value that can be up to 10%below what a Registered Valuation figure of the property would be.

          Thankyou RM for you professional response.
          With reagrds to the signature comment. It is mentioned in the forum rules:
          2) Negative comments about ANY company (including PT) or individual may be allowed so long as;
          snip
          2.b) The poster gives their real name.
          Obviously this is where confusion may lie. As previous responses may have been perceived as negative. Whether intended or not.

          Wish you best for future.
