How to know a property is owner occupied or not?

Is there any tools out there (free or paid ) to find out if a property is owner occupied or not? And even better to find out the percentage of rentals in a given street?

If you have access to Guru, you can see if it was advertised for rent in the past and you can compare it to the last sale, you could get an indication if its still rental or not.
Not sure about % of the given street though.

Hi, relab.co.nz provides such info for Auckland homes free of charge as well as % of state homes in the same meshblock etc.

With property guru you can do a quick search for the street.

If the property is owned under a company, it'd almost certainly be a rental.

Alternative you can do a search for the street in the tenancy tribunal orders tool - a high number of tribunal orders for arrears, parties, etc will indicate that the street is problematic.
