I saw an advert recently for portable buildings that specialise in putting them on tricky sites-can't remember where I saw the ad or what the company was, ringing any bells for anyone?

Keith hay homes is a big portable building company, if they can't get it onto your site they would know of somebody who could.Finance Broker - www.creditone.co.nz

I've visited the KHH factory in Drury, they have an impressive operation and their sales manager Barry was really good to speak with.
My understanding (which is still limited, we've only been in new builds as an investment option brand for a year) is that the bulk builders operate on a "concrete slab" model, which can incur high costs for people looking to build in less-than-optimal areas (ie, most of Auckland) because of the amount of engineering required to get that solid base in there. That makes sense as a scalable model, once you have a concrete slab in you can just roll through the build.
We're starting to work also with a company that takes the bulk model cost efficiencies with more flexibility around the foundation. Hopefully it works out, it's been very hard to source new builds in Auckland over the last year for our clients.Free online Property Investment Course from iFindProperty, a residential investment property agency.
