    Meadowbank

Anyone could please give me some idea about Meadowbank area, never lived in that area, especially for the area around small area of corner of Remurea rd and Meadowbank rd, is it safe there?

I drove the other day and saw some pacific looking people around state houses looking properties at the other end of the Meadowbank rd, close to the train station.

Anyone please knows that area well please advise.

    Much appreciated.

the auckland suburb guide rates meadowbank in it's top category, (of 5), meaning census data reports that people who live there have the highest reported incomes

st.johns is right on it's southern border and is rated in it's next to bottom catagory

it can be very hard when driving to know when you've moved from 1 into the other

keep in mind that real estate agents will often fudge the boundaries if it helps them to get higher selling price

ie a lot of meadowbank property is advertised as remuera even when ratings information says otherwise
    have you defeated them?
    your demons

Good area. Lots of legal home and incomes so quite densely populated. LOTS OF LEASEHOLD so watch out if you're buying.

Just watch the Meadowbank Glenn Innes border. You go from great to gangs in 2 streets.

Meadowbank - Glenn Innes border, almost as dangerous as the border between Canada and Mexico.

Uhh isn't the "buffer zone" between the two better known as St. Johns?

Kind of. Do you call the top of Felton Matthew St Johns or Meadowbank?
Just be wary the further away from Remuera you go the more mixed the property.

Top of Felton Matthew officially St John's D... (let's ask Tucker it's his inner turf)

The further away from Remuera the more mixed the residents too
