RPNZ Website - What are the costs?

I am looking for property stats, previous sales, etc... from the above site. Does anyone here use this site, and has it been a usefull tool in finding information about investment property.

I will be property finding and want to know the cost to join this site, I know REA's use the site and may have special prices due to the amount of hits they use. Have just been on their website & could not find any discounts for business just your average buy/sell.

If anyone could help with knowledge of this site I would be gratefull.

    Thanks
    FH

Get a tame agent to give you the info P., or you can get it from various other sources at a cost. REVIQ, Terranet, etc.

I just had a look in to it.
for the South island, 3 users, basic pack is $50 PW + GST.
Well worth it if you can find 2 more users to share the cost.

I know that some Harcourt's and Barfoot branches changed to Property guru, something to do with better information regarding comparable.

Harvest a "pet agent" and you can most probably get free access after hours ;-)

Thats not bad considering if you use the site casually it can cost you up to $89.00 per property.

Id be in the red before I made any cash if I used the site that way.

Yes same, not feasible. I ALWAYS ask the agent for a copy of the report. (since someone by the name Pooomba mentioned it)
why not? I can get it anyway if I will pay for it. It is not the X files.

most of the time I get the info I really want.

Yes it makes sence. Although it would be really handy say if you had a 3G laptop and could find it online while at the property.

As im starting out I think it would pay to build up the cash reserves before spending it.

Can anyone recommend a good fax also. Have currently got one of those little brother faxes and its a pain. I prefer to use a larger injet model as the offers are going to be thick and fast.

                        Cheers

I would probably consider myself a heavy user of RPNZ I use it most days.

                          I think it's really great.

The thing I don't like about asking to local tame agent is that you might be looking at 20 properties a week, that's going to fray the nerves of any tame agent.
Besides I like to surf Trademe with RPNZ open and just cruise over lots of properties.

So why not just get a log on and share it with multiple people.

If you have one log on and 5 people using it all that happens is you may get kicked off every now and then if there is a lot of people using it at once.

Steve, yes that is also an option. Just need to find someone to share the costs with. To start with though i may have to rely on the agents in the first few months.

to rpnz or not to rpnz?? That is the question

                              Hi FH

Send me a PM and I will give you a lead to someone you can share the cost with. I am paying $50 month and I use it every day so good value for money.

The only problem with rpnz is that it does have a LOT of mistakes on it and you do have to often double check.

...I think the data is just loaded on by salespeople and I can't tell you the number of major errors I've uncovered. Yes, it's definitely useful++, but don't take it as gospel!

So, since we are on this thread can anyone out there tell me if they have found a better program to subscribe to than rpnz???
