    Kieran Trass students' vulture fund?

Trass called the crash a six months ago and now sets up his own vulture fund to to take advantage of it.

    It's not a bad idea.

They'll, of course take the Moral high ground and say " no one has to sell"

They'll also make a killing (when) they buy well, and hold for gains. That's assuming of course "that this time is not that different"

But it's also very hand in glove and cloak & dagger stuff which is what Richmastery is famous for, Calling the market & selling information on one hand, and manipulating & profiting off people acting on that information on the other. That is questionable.

How is this sort of thing regulated Dan?

It is obvious, But I don't see any problem with it, Warren Buffett made millions out of been countercyclical.

It doesn't have to be negative outcome, for the seller that wonts a quick sale and get on with his life.

If one will pay FMV for every property he buys that will be totally waste of time. IMHO

Rubbish, there is a moral issue here. The guy preaches to everyone with regard to that state of the market, and then aims to profit from those who followed his calls to cut their losses.

          What a guy!

I think that you seriously overestimate the effect that people like Trass have on the market CD.

The market is not falling because Trass said it would.

The market is falling because of changes in the factors that drive the market.

            Paul.

It's a good idea but what I find funny is he stated the market is going to crash over the next couple of years so don't buy yet and now he has set this up to buy a lot of property???????

they were my thoughts to the word. A bit over the top to blame the slump on the voice of one or 2 people and seems someone has a little bit of bias here?

I don't think they are blaming him they are just pointing out he said one thing and is doing the other.

I agree with you CD. If he wanted to be impartial, then why not set up a separate entity with no perceived link to his Hybrid Group.

Personally I think the guy is way behind the times. I imagine he sold most of what little portfolio he had some time back (2003) and has been in catch-up mode since then.

Paul although you are right, he has no influence on the larger market, there are bound to be some suckers who subscribe to his 'cycle' and panic using his site to get out.

                    Completely unethical.

Trass and many others said that the crash is coming and that you need to get yourself in the correct financial shape and prepare a "vulture fund" to make the most of the opportunities that it brings. Surely this is really being consistent with what he has said all along in that now there is a downturn he is focusing his business on helping people maximise the opportunity.

He actually said while there may be good deals out there now you need to wait until next year before buying as it's going to get worse.

Market activity is growing, Interest rates are dropping and this means things will get worse?
