    Sandwich and lease

    Hi all,
Sorry if this is not the right place for this request, I am new to this forum and am wanting to get involved in property. I have been building up my business over the last few years and now I am in a position to step aside from it while it continues and get more invoved in property. I have read a few books,B Jones, DeRoos, RichDad, P Jones, some from America and Aus, I have Dean Leftus Trading DVD, just finished watching it today. My question is about lease option courses and who gives you more bang for your buck. Richmastry, How2 Terry Christian, Global Business Dorien Foster, Derrick Masters are some I have heard about. I enjoy reading your posts and look forward to your expertise. Also I am from the Bay of Plenty and would like to have a coffee with those from here thanks again.

    Hey there,

I enjoyed Global Business Ideas course. I like their approuch as to how they buy or secure properties. They've had some very successful students. Dean has done their course. He's awesome too. Derrick Masters also did their course as well. I thought GBI were great.

I have heard from others that Roger Hardie from Tauranga runs a good course.

I tend to stay away from Richmastery now. They're more about getting your money in their pocket. "come to our seminar and you'll get this" get there and its more "here it is for an extra $3,000" then the song absolutely everybody comes on...

      Proportunities

Global Business Ideas have an excellent course for beginner Traders. There is also Dorien Forster's book, "Proportunities" which is the first step. Then there are free introductory
seminars held around NZ to get the feel for Trading. It is a good idea to be on their email list for newsletters. After that, there are various paid courses, such as Dean's, which I haven't tried yet.

Propernator, how did you find GBI with their initial contact etc?

I found their website very difficult to navigate, and their process and response etc very lacking!

In the end after numerous attempts to contact them, I gave up and thought 'stuff ya!'.

Several investors have found this also.
GBI are basically old school investor types. And to be honest this new fan dangle technological type stuff is not really them. There skills are in the basic methods of contacts.

Email contact etc may not get the best results but if you stick to the pick up the phone method this can sometimes work well.

Actually all those whom have attended GBI have always raved over the courses.

            Hi Denc
If you are in tauranga I would drop John Cassidy a line and say hi.
He keeps his head under the radar. He doesn't do seminars or run courses but he certainly can help you in getting under way with property and property trading.
His office is in the house behind the Cheesecake shop on cameron road, you drive down the back.
the business is professional investment services.
the email is johnc at nzpis.com
I can't post a url here as I too am new.

I get down to Tauranga every second weekend from Wednesday night until Sunday night so if you are in that area I would be glad to catch up for a coffee.

            cheers

            Terry

                  Hi Glen,

I went along to GBI's free intorductory seminar and then signed up to their course from there so I didn't really have much to do with the website. I have seen it and although its not flash like others they are still very good at what they do and I did enjoy the course.

                  Cheers.
