Here's a great game...

We all know (well most of us) that on average, property will at least double in value every 7 to 10 years.

Well I've got a simple game for you to play. The intention of the game is to show how quickly money is multiplied when it doubles in value. All you need to do is double the figure I give in your reply to this post (or the last person's post)

I will start the game at 2cents. (the next person will reply with double this figure. Depending on how many people reply, you will see how quickly money builds by only doubling in value every time.

Ok, but what's the rate of inflation?

I get your point but without a benchmark real value compared to nominal value, any numbers you care to throw around in any projections are really meaningless.

How many of the people on here who project future values also adjust those numbers for an estimated rate of inflation?
