    "Circumstances may cause interruptions and delays, but never lose sight of your goal. Prepare yourself in every way you can by increasing your knowledge and adding to your experience, so that you can make the most of opportunity when it occurs."
    Mario Andretti.

    "All blame is a waste of time. No matter how much fault you find with another, and regardless of how much you blame them, it will not change you. The only thing blame does is to keep the focus off you when you are looking for external reasons to explain your unhappiness or frustration. You may succeed in making another person feel guilty about something by blaming, but you won’t succeed in changing whatever it is about you that is making you unhappy."
    Wayne Dyer.

      "There is no status quo.
      We either expand and grow - or contract and wither on the vine.
      We forgive or hold onto the past;
      We explore the world or ignore it;
      We love and share or judge and withhold;
      We escape from life or participate.
      Evolution or entropy?
      The choice is ours. "

        "People say that if they ever have a lot of money, they'll become generous.

        Who are they kidding?

        Prosperity has little to do with generosity.
        Statistics from the U.S. tell us that the average personal income in the State of Mississippi is the second lowest in the United States, yet that State is ranked 6th in charitable giving.
        By contrast, New Hampshire is ranked 6th in average personal income, but guess where they rank in charitable
        giving - 45th.

        A big income doesn't mean you have a big heart.
        Henry Ward Beecher warned that prosperity could actually make us less likely to give:
        "Watch, lest prosperity destroy generosity." People in the United States live in the most prosperous country in the world, during the most prosperous time in its history. Yet only 2.5 percent of their income goes to charity; that's lower than it was during the Great Depression.

        If you desire to become a more generous person, don't wait for your income to change - change your heart. Find a reason to give every day.
        Look for a compelling cause or a worthy ministry. They're all around you.

        When it comes right down to it, the recipients of our generosity are never churches, causes or institutions. Ultimately, the recipients are people - people loved and valued. So, what are you doing for others? How you answer that question is the measure of your generosity."
        "There's one way to find out if a man is honest-ask him. If he says 'yes,' you know he is a crook." Groucho Marx

          "Nothing is by chance. There is a perfect pattern and plan running through the whole life, and you're part of that wholeness and therefore part of that perfect pattern & plan.
          When you see strange things happening in your life and wonder why they should happen to you, take time to see how it all fits in, and you will see a reason for everything.
          The reason may not be always what you expected, but nevertheless be willing to accept them and to learn by them, and do not fight against them. Life should be effortless. A flower does not struggle to unfold in the rays of the sun, so why should you struggle to unfold in the rays of limitless love?"
          Eileen Caddy, Spiritual guide and author.

            There truly are profound truths in many of the quotes included in Graeme's book! Thanks for posting them here Muppet - they're like reminders to me not to get caught in the trivial things and stay on purpose...
