Broken fridge freezer - worth fixing?

    Hi All,
My tenants are reporting the freezer compartment of the fridge-freezer no longer cold as it should be (its the same temp as the fridge apparently)

The fridge is probably 10 years old. Is it worth me hiring an engineer to try and fix it, or should I just buy a new one? I imagine the callout fee is not so cheap.

If anyone has good knowledge in this area I'd be grateful to hear your advice.

    thanks

probably not worth fixing is what they will say after they charge you $100 to look at it

I would look at at a good second-hand brand like F&P or Prestcold in the meanwhile. We took the punt and it lasted longer than the tenants!
Matter-of-fact it still serves our tenants 7 years later and 3 sets of tenants.
      Its worth looking around.
