Hi Guys, thanks for everyones comments on my posts - really appreciate all the wealth of knowledge out there! Here goes another one....we have bought a home with a creek running out the back of the property (supposedly ours) but not too sure, are we able to use that water for irrigation, not for consumption as we are on tank water and don't want to use all the water from the tank. Area is Franklin. Thanks in advance

If you do source water from a stream, you'll also need to use some sort of filter like this or your pump will crap out when weeds block it.You can find me at: Energise Web Design

Did you know that another name for giardia in North America is "Beaver Fever"? If you decide to top up the tanks during the odd summer dry-spell (I know it'd be tempting) and you later find you have this insatiable urge to gnaw at the trucks of trees, go and see the quack immediately.
