    Small earthquake shakes north Queensland

Ha! what is happening to the world?
Fatal earthquakes in NZ, China and Japan in the last three weeks and now this.
    Small earthquake shakes north Queensland

    March 15, 2011 - 5:38PM

Far north Queensland residents have been shaken by a magnitude 4.0 earthquake off the coast, but authorities have been quick to assure residents there is no tsunami threat.
The shallow earthquake struck at 4.08pm about 30 kilometres east of Innisfail.
Geoscience Australia duty seismologist Jonathan Bathgate said there was no danger to people or property.

"From the reports we're getting, people have felt some minor shaking, rattling windows, that sort of thing," he said.
"We haven't had any reports of damage and we probably wouldn't expect that for this size earthquake at that sort of distance.
"And generally from an earthquake this size, there's certainly no tsunami threat. We get this sort of magnitude earthquake across Australia pretty regularly."
Dr Bathgate said such 4.0 tremors had previously been recorded in the area, in November 1989 and May 1990.
"It's not a common occurrence but it has happened in the past," he said.
"Queensland doesn't have as many earthquakes as other parts of Australia -- some parts of Australia are much more seismically active than this area."

    The Moon Man:

lets see if a significant one happens between 18 & 24 March 2011

conspiracy theorists might try to tell you "They" are testing out the earthquake machine !!!

Or 27/5/2012 as another group is claiming.

            Its very scientifically described Dean
Megawatt microwave aimed at ionisphere causes it to expand ?
Draws the techtonic plates out with it !!!
            tectonic plate movement causing earthquakes

            Beyond practical comprehension, & physics.

However the Gravitational change caused by the moon being the closest its been in 23 years, combined with gravitational pull from other planets all lining up for Dec 2012 does have a lot of credence.

Of course if "They" have found a way to assist this natural gravitational pull (through ionishere manipulation or whatever) perhaps a machine could be created that is a catalyst to help trigger earthquakes that were liable to happen anyway ? Who knows ?

              Wouldn't 20/12/2012 be more elegant?

The dates which the world has not witnessed yet, are infinently better candidates for being the last day when compared to those days which have felt like a close calls.
