  • Assigning Contracts??

    Hi Everyone,

I've been wanting to get into Real Estate Investing for some time. Took a real estate salesperson certificate course, (but dont want to be an agent). Read heaps of books and been to heaps of seminars. And now I'm all info-ed out, if thats a word, if not oh well you getit. I'm currently not in the position to buy a home, so just wondered if being a property finder or assigning contracts in New Zealand is worth while and is it legal. I've come across do-up properties, empty properties, but where do I find the buyers?? and are they any lawyers in Auckland that help you with the assignment contracts??

Go to the massiveaction.co.nz website and click on "Investors Library"
Buyers seem to be very few, so it's best to try and find a buyer first. What I do is dummy advertise properties in traders and newspapers and create a database of buyers.Just tell them the property has gone, and ask what there looking for. Find out what they want, and look for a property that fits ther criteria.
You can also try no money down deals - Lease option upwards, sandwich lease options which require no money to get into.

Forgive me for being perhaps a little critical of that method of getting a database cmpunk. You are basically starting your relationship with these people by false advertising.

Why not just advertsise that you are a property finder and get people on your database that way?

      cheers

            cmpunk,

You are the kind of person that gives honest property investors a bad name, in my opinion.

If you are willing to bend the truth in order to get your database of prospective clients, what other kinds of deceptive behaviour do you engage in?

            Paul.
