Auckland Council are putting in place a protocol around how the film industry can use public spaces in Auckland for filming.

I haven't read it, because it doesn't affect me, but it might affect others here.
It actually looks mostly sensible. They say things like film people need consents quickly and so to be competitive internationally we have to issue permits quickly and the whole basic feel of the document seems to be around making/keeping Auckland a good place to make films.
If only they'd do this sort of thing for construction and new businesses wanting to set up!
