    Christmas break - Reading??

What are your recommendations on books you may have read over Christmas??

I have got through the following books, the first three are highly sought after personal development books and will make a real difference in your efforts to work on yourself:-

The One Minute Millionaire: Mark Victor Hansen & Robert G Allen

Who moved My Cheese: Dr Spencer Johnson

Powerful Changes: John R Burley & Bryan K Fergus

How to be a Quick Turn Real Estate Millionaire: Ron LeGrand (Excellent trading advice for beginners or experienced - available through Borders books or PT?)

Climbing the Property Ladder: Olly Newland

Nothing Down for the 2000's: Robert G Allen

I re-read Neil Jenmans 'Don't Sign Anything' as I am about to sell some property and wanted a refresher.

If you are selling any property then you must read this book first. You will get a 'paradigm shift' about the process and how to make the process work better for you.

I read "Real Estate Myths Exploded" by David Morrell, which contains a lot of good points on how to work with agents.

For general reading on the NZ economy, I re-read "Only Their Purpose is Mad" by Bruce Jesson. Bruce has a very good observation on how our economy has changed over the years. According to him, NZ economy was once dominated by people who made things; it is now dominated by people who finance things. How true!!!

Turnkey Investing through Lease Options by Matthew Chan

Raving Fans by Ken Blanchard - This is very good and written in the same way he does all his "one minute" books

Instant Systems by Brad Sugars - This was just to see if I could get increased leverage through improving my processes

and i'm reading Stephen Covey's 7 Habits for Effective People again as I rate it the best self-help book that I have personally read

"Think & Grow Rich" by Napoleon Hill

          Hi P/T Forumites

I can never sit down long enough to read more than half and I am slow reader at that. Always running between properties (looking for real deals), my business, community work, JP work, property talk, endless phonecalls, socialising and sleeping.

However I went to a USANA conference at the Aotea Centre, Auckland, over the weekend to listen to Denis Waitley talking, awesome speaker, heard alot of good stuff.

At the conference I picked up a CD "Think & Grow Rich" by Napoleon Hill. Have heard it twice already as I drive around in my car going from A to B.

The CD/book is about the Law Of Success and becoming Mind-Rich.

          Cheers Ron

            Hi,

I've just finished reading Kieran Trass's "Grow Rich with the Property Cycle". I have found it to be one of the most informative and interesting books i have read about property investing. It is easy to read and understand (got through it in a weekend) yet comprehensively gets through some complicated concepts. A must for any budding property investors library.

            Cheers

I read several books over the break.

                        My top three:

Bob Jones: "My Property World" (Thought provoking and very funny in places).

Olly Newland: "Lost Property" (Tells a potentially boring story in a riveting way).

Dolf de Roos: "Real Estate Riches" (Quite inspiring I thought).

It was a great chance to get a bit more info under my belt. :-)
