I have just returned from my second trip to Estonia in 2 weeks – even more convinced about the opportunities there for investors at all levels. I read recently some property investment company saying that in the new EU countries you should accept you will run at a negative cashflow for the first 5 years, but the capital growth would be worth it – nonsense – I prefer to have both!
I have just secured a deal in Parnu, the summer capital of Estonia – which I introduced 2 weeks ago, with a little help from Janet Street Porter. I wanted to wait until I had returned from my second trip to completely confirm the rentals/price comparisons and mortgages, and that we would have good support out there – this has all now been completed.
