Anyone know what is the right way to run the HRV ducting to downstairs of two storey house. The way it is run in the photo is very ugly and waste of space.

Shower install dilemna! Conflicting plumbers.
Just doing a shower install to an existing laundry area approved by Council and have been told by one plumber that the shower waste height must be at least 150mm from the top [or rim] of the gully trap which would involve building a plinth underneath it to raise up the shower tray.
