New Law - Anti SPAM - watch out!

Hi All,

Early this morning the Unsolicited Electronic Messages Bill passed in Parliament. This will have huge implications on what and whom you send email messages.....especially commerical oriented messages.

Businesses and Individuals will have six months to comply to the law or face the possibility of a large fine.

Essentially the compliance is for bulk emailing - where you are emailing a message to quite a few email addresses.

We will keep you informed of the progress as one of our businesses is an ESP (email service provider).

Hello all,

The bill covers not only bulk email such as your newsletters to prospects and clients but also your 1-to-1 communication to people. If your email content contains promotional material then you will need to look at this new law.
