Casacamo, almost all mortgage brokers are very cheap - up to extend of not charging you a penny!
I would also recommend doing search for keywords "mortgage broker".
Also all mortgage brokers are reasonably good (at least good enough for most people). Let me know if you need FANTASTIC broker (becuse "good" broker is not good enough) - there's couple of them in Auckland.

    Hi Casacamo,

What do you mean by "cheap"? We (as investors) don't pay broker's fees - the banks do.

Your question should be: Who is the best mortgage broker in Auckland?

Good mortgage brokers will make you money - they can negotiate good rates, get LMI fees reduced or waived, get contributions from the bank towards legal fees, and so on.

(I've just returned home a couple of minutes ago after meeting with my broker. He's great, but he's in Hamilton.)

    Good luck with your hunt,

    Paul.

    Hi Casacamo,

Give Daniel Feller of Financial Pictures a call on 021533360 or e-mail him on [email protected].

As well as being a very knowlegable broker, Daniel has had huge personal experience in purchasing investment property himself and is well worth a chat to tap into his expertise.

    Hello casacamo,

Aside from the fact that you don't pay the broker as has been pointed out, please don't fall into the trap, so prevalent in some circles, that you can get top quality advice and service by not paying for it.

    Invariably cheap is expensive.
