Well I guess the stats say it all.
PT forums continue to grow despite rising interest rates etc..

Maybe it is because of, and not despite, rising interest rates, decreasing yields, and the like.

The days of buying CF+ properties are largely over, and so people need to get educated in order to advance their investing. That is where PT comes in handy .

                Possibly.
I guess the free ride in property is over and people if they want to succeed need to educate themselves better.

Years ago it did not matter what you bought as most property grew in value. Now those dog boxes and tenant problems are a reality and the hard work is setting in.

                Well done PT

Out of interest another NZ property investing forum peaked at 98 forum members online back in Nov 2006.

Yet another NZ property investing forum peaked at 12 forum members online back in Oct 2006.

This means it is probably not a state of the market or property cycle. Otherwise they would have grown also.

PT is taking off overseas?? Will have to see the time of the next record. Will we have to wait long?

                      Membership is growing daily also.

                        Hi Guys

Here are figures from Somersoft, Australia's busiest property forum:

How many active members do we have?

I noticed that stat on Somersoft Muppet, any idea what the definition of an active member is?

Any idea how long Somersoft has been going? I get the impression it has been around in some form or another since about 1999 is that right? It seems we are catching them on membership, and probably not doing too badly on the number of posts/threads given their greater length of life.

                          Cheers
