Capital Property Investor’s Association is proud to host the 2006 NZPIF Conference and extends a warm invite to all landlords and property investors to come to the Conference and enjoy Wellington’s great hospitality.
We are creating an exciting conference programme for you around the theme of Dare to be Challenged, looking at a whole range of issues facing the property industry. The industry is going through some challenging times for those who are wishing to get into the property market or expand their portfolios. This conference will give you a range of insights, tips and tools to possibly handle the changing times ahead.
We especially encourage those that have not been to a Federation Conference before to attend – Wellington is a great place to visit and you will tap into a network of like-minded investors as well as a host of useful products and services for property people.
Our keynote for the 2006 NZPIF Conference is Dr Dolf de Roos who will be presenting a number of plenary sessions over the duration of the conference. Dolf de Roos was born in New Zealand and attended school in a variety of countries. It was back in New Zealand as an undergraduate student that he began investing in real estate. Despite going on to earn a PhD in electrical and electronic engineering from the University of Canterbury, Dolf increasingly focused on his flair for investing. While he has never had a job, he has invested in many classes of real estate (residential, commercial, industrial, hospitality and specialist) all over the world, and is Chairman of the public company Property Ventures Limited.
He has also run public seminars throughout Australia, New Zealand, Asia, North America and Europe, trained real estate agents, introduced software to analyse and manage investment property and written and published nine books on property which have been on best seller lists in five countries, including the New York Times Best Seller Real Estate Riches.
People who are familiar with Dolf know him as being passionate about the psychology of wealth in general, real estate in particular, and more than willing to share the fruits of his ongoing quest for knowledge.
