I think she really wanted a CGT.

Then someone tried to explain to her what a capital gains tax actually was and it got too hard.

If she didn't understand it then her voters weren't going to either.

I'm amazed that people are still going on about it!
It's done and dusted - yesterdays news now.

    Agreed.
The brain-dead media are still anally analysing it to death, too.
Gets a bit nauseating, after a while.

Nope its todays news that she speaks well and is full of good intentions.

And its certainly todays news that she has no idea about business or tax or CGT as she is still PM and likely to be so for the next 4 years.

    Really? You jest.

Any non socialist-diehard with half a brain is already aware of the PM's (road-to-hell) good intentions and that she no idea about business and tax.

    Hardly news.

    LOL
That's the behaviour that Labour and the Greens are trying to stop.
Those hard working renovators have caused the property price increases and are forcing the homeless to sleep on footpaths.
    They must be stopped!
    Let's tax them.
    Oh wait....

Wait... what? I've read in the newspaper many times that it can't be done. So therefore it can't be done.

BTW - my wife fits within that age range and I'm just outside. Both retired from our chosen careers, travel as much as we want (currently on a 6 month European trip with our 2 kids) do whatever we want. Work when we want (often at no charge). Buy whatever we like ... which sounds fantastic but strangely once we could afford some things you decide you really don't need them.

If building a property portfolio means owning some rentals, then Labour and Greens, with spot of help from Mr Peters, are doing quite well with their plan. It is the year of delivery so they will be very happy.
