Hi All,
Here is an email I got re. the guest speaker from Australia - Rosie Pekar
Rosie Pekar to ‘Kick But’ in Auckland

Ellerslie Convention Centre, Auckland
Good morning,
This is just a quick note to let you know that Australian Author and Motivator Rosie Pekar will be making her first visit to New Zealand, next week, for a one-off Speaking engagement to the Auckland Property Investors Association.
Rosie isn’t particularly well known in New Zealand – but she is a regular Motivational Speaker in her native Australia. She has already written and published two self-improvement books and is shortly heading to the US to launch her third book which was co-authored with Stephen Covey (author of ‘The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People’) and Brian Tracey (author of ‘The Psychology of Selling’).
Key points, about Rosie, for your interest:
• She has a fascinating story to tell: from ‘down and out’, to tough ex-cop, to private investigator – she’s gone on to become a successful author and speaker.
• She’s an active girl’s role model and appears in the March 2006 issue of ‘Dolly’ Magazine.
• She’s a Radio personality in Australia.
• She was an active Volunteer during the Tsunami disaster.
• She’s an active humanitarian for many charities including Kids Cancer, Prevention Teen Suicide and Take 5 for kids.
• Her address is entitled ‘Kicking But’ (Bloody Useless Thoughts) – and she insists that there are only 2 schools of thought. Those that lead to what we want and those that lead to more of what we don’t want.
There’s a lot more information about Rosie on her website at www.kickbut.com.au.
Cheers,
Donna
