    Default Info on "Marina Park" apartment CBD Auckland

    This apartment at 146 Fanshawe St is new to me. Does anyone know of any problems with this building or the new construction next door? Thanks.

    I only know of one problem, and that is that it is a CBD apartment. No need to look any further.

    for more on the CBD and which apartments are good or bad try the CBD report which details all this info.

    It is a big report but basically it outlines not all apartments will collapse and which are most likely to hold value. On the other side it does predict some grim news for many smaller aprtments.
    The following indications are our estimates only based on our perception of
    the current state of oversupply and may not necessarily be a true representation
    of actual capital growth rates.
    SOME POSITIVE Growth (Up to 10% increase in values)
    • Viaduct Precinct
    NEGATIVE Growth (Up to 20% decrease in values)
    • Port/Downtown Precinct
    • Central Precinct
    • University Precinct
    • Victoria Park Precinct
    • K Rd Precinct
    STRONG NEGATIVE Growth (20% to 40% decrease in values)
    • Nelson/Hobson St Precinct
    • Motorway Junction Precinct
    • Upper Queen St Precinct

    Thanks folks. I am very aware of the whole CBD apartment situation and I have read the report a number of times.

    Does anyone know anything about this specific building?
